Filling backpacks, fueling futures.
We're Bright Start Student Club — local students raising cash all back-to-school season to fill backpacks with supplies and food for Dublin & Hilliard elementary and middle school students — delivered before the first bell rings.
How to give →A full set of school supplies for one student
A fully-loaded backpack for one student

We table around Dublin and Hilliard all back-to-school season — look for the gold "Pack the Backpack" sign and the big orange backpack.
New backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, and sealed non-perishable food go straight into the next delivery.
100% of what you give becomes supplies and food. We shop as donations come in, keep every receipt, and hand-deliver packed backpacks to school front offices. No overhead, no cut, no exceptions. As we shop, pack, and deliver, everything gets documented right here:
Raised so far: $0 / goal $700
Each shopping receipt is photographed and posted on this page.
We count and photograph each packed backpack before it goes out.
Each school drop-off is documented, with totals updated right here.
Honestly: no. We're a student club, not a registered charity, so we can't issue tax receipts. What we can promise is that 100% becomes supplies and food — and we post the receipts to prove it.
We coordinate each delivery with the school's front office. Staff know their students best, so they pass the backpacks to the kids who need them most.
Cash in person only — it keeps things simple and lets us show exactly where every dollar goes.
